[ She's seen dragons - or other oddities - in games before. Still, AndrAIa's not entirely certain how to take the sniffing. She ends up just doing what she would do for Frisket - holding out a hand for Stormfly to sniff out if she wants to do so. ]
She's beautiful, so I'm glad! [ She's always been partial to the color blue, though. Her second favorite after the color green. ] My name, by the way, is AndrAIa.
[ Still clearly more or less at ease, she'll offer Astrid a grin. They seem to be about the same age, but it can be a little hard to tell. ]
I wouldn't argue the point. People are rarely upfront about their agendas, in my experience.
[ Even Matrix isn't as upfront as he could be at times, these days. And Enzo had always been fairly easy to read. Still is, for her, but he knows how to lie to other people now.
AndrAIa shrugs, though, apparently not too concerned or very good at hiding it. ]
Which just means, of course, that you have to put in a little legwork to figure things out.
[Stormfly leaned into her hand when she held it out, but it was the compliment that really got her going. She chirped, stomping her feet, before proceeding to start grooming her wings.
Astrid laughed.]
You better be careful, she loves compliments. [Is she implying the dragon might love you forever and probably drive you crazy for attention? Yes, yes she is.]
[ Exactly why Tieria doesn't believe a thing CERES is trying to feed them. He's a part of Celestial Being, this is the exact same sort of things he's used to doing, except Celestial Being is genuinely working towards the betterment of mankind. CERES is an entity that he's unfamiliar with, he has all the reasons to doubt them and not enough to believe them. At least not now. ]
That's a given, isn't it? If they expect us to believe everything they told us without reserve, then we wouldn't be the sort of data they need to combat The Flamines. [ If it's yes-man they're looking for, those robots in CERES's possession would be sufficient. ]
Reminds me a little of my boyfriend's partner. [ His dog...she's not sure the dragon would like being compared to a dog, when Stormfly can clearly grasp the gist of the conversation. ]
I believe it isn't a game, but I'm not sure what else I believe just yet. I'll let you know when I've learned a little more.
[ There's no reason to take what they're saying at face value...but in the same vein, there's no reason to discard the notion out of hand, either. She'll sit on it for a while and see what seems most likely. ]
Not on a computer, no. [He's Japanese, okay, PC gaming is kind of uncommon there, compared to other countries. SO HE HAS MURDERED NO PIXEL PEOPLE, TYVM. HE IS BASICALLY A SAINT.] I'm not much of a gamer, myself. [He goes to arcades occasionally at his sister's request, but that's about it.] I pretty much just use computers for going on the internet or writing papers, shit like that.
[With those hostile aliens or whatever important information he was being told earlier on. Not to say he shrugged it all off just because it sounded like unbelievable bullshit, but it was a lot to take in! Even for a surgeon.]
So far, they're not being very persuasive.
[Aside from the physical act of forcing him -- them here.]
Huh, I see. I've...never really met any Users before today. I'm not completely sure what to say. [ Apologetic smile. That moment when you meet literal near-gods... ]
